Tianyu B832 shows off anti-theft security features

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 05, 2007

The Tianyu B832 is not your average phone. It sports the the usual multimedia features like media player, camera and FM radio receiver but it packs an interesting security feature. The Tianyu B832 gives you the ability to lock down the phone if it is stolen.

You can have up to 5 phone numbers in a notification list that will be used if another sim card is placed in the phone. If the phone is stolen and it detects a different sim card, the Tianyu B832 will send an sms to the numbers on the notification list. The sms will contain the new sim card details so you can go to the telephone company and report the theft. You can even reply to the sms and instruct the Tianyu B832 to lock itself down. Now that's cool!
