Mobile VoIP for Cell Phones with fring

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - February 28, 2007

fring™ is a free peer-to-peer mobile VoIP application that allows users to talk & chat (instant messages) via their handset’s GPRS, 3G or Wi-Fi Internet networks to other mobile phones and PC-based VoIP applications such as Skype, MSN Messenger & Google Talk.

fring™ is enhanced with real-time contact availability (presence) and saves users money by utilizing free Wi-Fi Internet access or fixed Internet data plans instead of GSM (talk) minutes. fring™ is completely PC-independent and works without any proprietary hardware.
