Nokia E61 Gets Blackberry Connect - Maybe

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - May 31, 2006

All About Symbian reports that the Blackberry Connect Software for the Nokia E61 is available from Nokia's Business web site, but if you go to the web site will get the following message: "The BlackBerry client for Nokia E60, Nokia E61 and Nokia E70 available soon. Please stay tuned."

So what gives? It looks like the software may have been pulled from the site. No word on whether or not Nokia found a bug in the software. Stay tuned.

BlackBerry Connect allows non-BlackBerry devices limited BES functionality like push email and calendar syncing. Nokia E60 and E70 BlackBerry Connect compatibility is coming soon.
