Amazon.com has apparently jumped the gun and posted details of the next Apple G5 in their database. The new dual 2.7 GHz processor computer will run Apple's latest OS 10 version, Tiger, on 512MB of DDR SDRAM, with a 250GB HD, and 16x Dual Layer SuperDrive. Amazon is selling the machine for $2,994.99 which is less than the current dual 2.5 GHz version is selling for. You can apparently pre-order the computer now and have it shipped when it arrives in stock. No word on the official release date.
