Cingular Offers Windows Mobile Smartphone

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - December 15, 2005

Cingular Wireless is now carrying the Cingular 2125 Windows Smartphone. As with many of the new smartphones these days, this one is also designed by HTC. Cingular wanted to add a larger antenna and therefore their version of the 2215 has a "hump" on the top of the phone, making it a quad-band GSM/GPRS device.

The Cingular 2215 supports the EDGE protocal and includes Bluetooth. It runs Windows Mobile 5.0 on a 200 MHz OMAP processor, and includes 64 MB of RAM and 64 MB of Flash ROM. It also includes a miniSD slot for additional storage. It has a 240-by-320-pixel (QVGA) display measuring 2.2 inches.

Check out the Cingular web site for more details.
