Sony Ericsson P800 - Coolest Phone on the Planet

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 02, 2003

Sony Ericsson's new P800 has been touted as the most advanced triband smartphone in the industry. Basically, the coolest phone on the planet. It's the first Symbian OS v7.0 handset available and is aimed at the high end mobile phone market.

The P800 includes a digital camera which comes in handy when you want to store a color picture of someone in your address book. When they call you, their picture will show up. You can also take digital pictures, view them on the 208 x 320 pixel color screen, store them in the photo album and send them as an e-mail to a PC or as an MMS message to another phone.

You can download and view video clips such as a music video or movie trailer. Of course, the P800 is a PDA with organizer features such as calendar, e-mail, address book and to-do-lists. In addition you can take notes and view Powerpoint, Word or Excel files.

One of the cooler features is the built-in Bluetooth technology. This enables you to be connected wirelessly to a Bluetooth headset, a PC, or other Bluetooth gadgets.

The P800 has an integrated browser that can access the web, as well as WAP. The P800 runs on GSM 900/1800/1900 which means it can be used all over the world. Now you can go to just about any country and purchase local service.

The P800 is available right here at pdablast! Look to the related links below.
