Swiss Army Stylus: Never Get Caught Empty Handed

Accessory Reviews - By: pdaBlast! Staff - December 18, 2003

I'm always on the look-out for new and innovative styli. When I cam across the Swiss Army Stylus Knife I thought wow, they really are putting everything into these knives. The stylus in the Pocket Knife is a novel idea, but I was curios to see how good an idea this really was.

Overview
The Swiss Army Stylus Knife comes with 6 tool. They are:

  • A small blade
  • A scissors
  • Nail file w/ screwdriver tip
  • Tweezers
  • Retractable stylus tip
  • Key Ring

The tools are the same excellent quality that is to be expected with any Victorinox Pocket Knife. The small blade is surprisingly sharp, and the same can be said for the scissors. The key ring is a nice touch as this knife is great for attaching to a keychain.

    Impressions
I like the stylus knife simply because of the 'cool' factor. It is such a neat thing to have a stylus on your Pocket Knife. Although this is a cool item to have I can't really see too many times when you would need to use the stylus tip. It was a little awkward to hold and use, but it is still a nice tool to have if you're ever caught without a stylus.

If you're going to invest in one of these small pocket knives why not get one with a stylus (I think that the stylus is placed in the same area that other Swiss Army Knives have a toothpick).
