Nokia 9290 Communicator Available in the US

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 11, 2002

The Nokia 9290 Communicator will finally hit the streets in the USA. After a very long wait, Nokia is apparently sending out emails to potential customers to let them know that the 9290 will be available in the US.

Nokia's Communicator line has been long awaited in the US. It's a flip-open PDA/Phone that has many capabilities. The Nokia 9290 is powered by an ARM9 processor and the Symbian OS. It is capable of data speeds of up to 14.4kbps via GSM. With a 640x200 pixel display the Nokia 9290 Communicator makes it easy to see what you're doing.

The 9290 sells for $599 directly from Nokia. Check out the link below to go to the official site.
